Timeli Debuts at CES 2026 with a Handheld Take on Smart Personal Safety

At CES 2026, Smart Home Protection LLC is introducing Timeli, a portable personal safety device designed to bring emergency connectivity, video documentation, and threat deterrence into a single handheld form factor. Unveiled at Eureka Park, Timeli reflects a broader shift in safety technology, extending concepts long used in smart home security into everyday, on-the-go situations.

Timeli combines several functions into one device, including a high-powered flashlight, HD video recording, a loud audible alarm, live GPS tracking, and two-way voice communication with emergency dispatch. The emphasis is on simplicity under stress. A single button press activates illumination and video recording, while a press-and-hold on the dedicated SOS button escalates the situation by triggering the alarm, streaming live video, and sharing real-time location data with a professional monitoring center.

A key differentiator is video verification for emergency response. By providing dispatchers with live visual information alongside audio and location data, incidents can be assessed more accurately and prioritized faster than traditional voice-only calls. According to industry data cited by the company, video-verified alerts can significantly reduce response times while also helping to lower false dispatches, a persistent challenge for conventional alarm systems.

Timeli operates independently of a smartphone thanks to built-in cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, while also supporting a companion iOS and Android app for setup and customization. Through the app, users can adjust recording quality, flashlight brightness, and alarm volume, tailoring the device to different environments and comfort levels.

Physically, Timeli is roughly smartphone-sized, measuring just over seven inches long and weighing about seven ounces. Battery specifications include long-term standby capability, multiple hours of active use, and a built-in emergency power bank function that can charge a phone while preserving enough battery for safety use.

Priced at $299.95, Timeli includes 12 months of professional monitoring and dispatch service, after which it transitions to a $9.95 monthly subscription. The device has also been named a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree, highlighting early industry recognition for its consolidated approach to personal, on-the-go safety
