AGIBOT organized “AGIBOT NIGHT” in Shanghai on February 8, 2026, with a 60-minute live gala broadcast, described as the first large-scale cultural event conducted entirely by humanoid robots. Contrary to previous events, robots were the main performers, showcasing dance, comedy, music, and magic shows. The event was intended to promote the transition of embodied intelligence from controlled lab settings to real-world social and entertainment scenarios, while also testing the stability of operation and coordination of multiple robots operating in unison.
The performances showcased advanced motion control and synchronization. Robots performed complex physical actions such as flips, fast turns, catwalk performances, and large-scale synchronized dance performances, all while maintaining timing and balance throughout continuous performances.
Collaborative performances involved human dancers performing alongside AGIBOT G2 humanoid robots and D1 quadruped robots, with a focus on real-time coordination of human and robot movement. Other performances included collaborative magic shows with human magicians, robot magic shows, and comedy skits intended to highlight expressive behavior and interaction among multiple humanoid robots. Co-branded shows with consumer and lifestyle brands showcased potential applications outside industrial settings.

The gala also provided an opportunity to showcase the humanoid robotics product line offered by AGIBOT. Full-size A2 robots showcased multimodal interaction and autonomous navigation, X2 robots showcased conversational capabilities and expressive movement, G2 robots showcased industrial manipulation and logistics, and D1 quadruped robots showcased mobility in complex operational settings.
Rather than focusing on individual technological breakthroughs, the event highlighted large-scale reliability and system-level deployment. With over 5,000 humanoid robots shipped worldwide by the end of 2025, AGIBOT positioned the event as a demonstration of growing commercial readiness and scalability.
The gala was held during the Chinese Spring Festival and also explored the cultural aspect of robotics, featuring humanoid robots as potential participants in shared social experiences and human activities beyond traditional industrial applications.
